South Africans experiencing power shedding

South Africans are experiencing an unexpected dose of load shedding, which was caused after a coal silo collapsed at Eskom's Majuba power station in Mpumalanga on Sunday. Some places have power shed between 18.30 and 22.00. A lot of concern has been shown on the impact this will have on students most of whom are studying for their finals.

Eskimo has said the load shedding was the only way out to avoid a total blackout after the collapse of ssilo number 20
