Pre colonial African mode of dressing...if any

Africans pre colonisation were barely clothed. Civilisation and westernisation thought us about full coverage clothing and modesty in their own terms.

Big Brother Africa Season 8 winner Namibia's Dillish Matthews recently had photos of her dressed in her native Himba culture attire. Online bloggers have tagged her as 'scantly clad' or 'baring her boobs'.

The question is - Did civilisation turn us off our culture or was our culture morally bereft?
