Havard University's annual celebration of African American culture

According to Washingtontimes, Oprah Winfrey and performer-activist Harry Belafonte were among those honored at Harvard University on Tuesday at its annual celebration of African American culture.

Also honoured posthumously was Maya  Angelou, whose award Oprah recieved on her behalf.

Well deserved. Congratulations to Oprah and Harry  Belafonte. Wish Maya's award came in her lifetime.
